Artist Roster Onboarding Checklist:

NOTE: Please send all materials in a single email or within the same email thread under the Subject Line: “[ARTIST / BAND NAME] x SoundSync Music]”

  1. Completed SoundSync Music Artist Representation Agreement

    • Read carefully before returning the Artist Representation Agreement we attached to your onboarding email. Make sure you understand what you’re signing!

    • Please refer to the EXPLAINER companion document that was sent along with your actual agreement to help you break down each section and to help answer any frequently asked questions.

    • Completed copy of Schedule A (this is included in your onboarding paperwork)

      • PRO Affiliations for each songwriter (BMI, ASCAP, SESAC, etc.)

      • PRO IPI #s for each songwriter

      • Label information (if applicable)

      • ISRCs (if applicable)

      • Split sheets for each song

    • Exhibits A & B (these should be included in your onboarding paperwork)

  2. Artist Profile Assets for our Website

    • Please fill out this form to submit your artist assets for our site

      • Artist Bio (200-500 words)

      • Press Kit Quality Artist Photo in PNG or JPEG format (with photographer permission and credit)

  3. Your Music Files

    • Upload .wav files for each of your songs and instrumentals through our DISCO submission portal. You do not need a DISCO account to submit, but if you have one, you can easily submit your music by clicking “Send Your Own Playlist” at the top right corner of the page.

      NOTE: While it is acceptable to send other required documents through email, please do not send us email attachments, Google Drive or WeTransfer files, or use any other file-sharing service to share your music with us.

    • Please include lyrics for each of the songs you uploaded separately in an email.

  4. A tax form such as IRS Form W9

    • You can find one here.

We offer free consultations for all SoundSync roster artists (just email Nat) + twice-monthly “office hours” for ALL local Austin musicians (tell your friends!).
